1clickdownloader Removal Guide

Yesterday, I got a video to download, when I clicked the download link, it asked me to use 1clickdownloader to accelerate the downloading. I did installation and used it. However, it asked me to purchase it before I could use it. But I had Flashget and I don’t want this stuff. But I can’t uninstall it. And it always popped up on the screen. I’m very angry with it now.

1clickdownloader malware Information

1clickdownloader, without doubt, is a malware which can hijack your computer and ask you to pay money. What will it make you vexed is that you can’t use any anti-virus programs to remove it nor can you uninstall it from the Control Panel. Like the victim described, this virus will be disguised as a downloader. Many people would like to use some software such as Flashget to download files because they can get much faster speed. And all most all of them are free for using. However, 1clickdownloader is not so good software that can make you feel relieved. It will ask for money to use it. What’s worse, it almost doesn’t have any good function as many other downloaders have. It’s completely a virus like this one. Read the rest of this post »

‘Unlock this Page to Continue!’ Virus

I’m not sure why ‘Unlock this Page to Continue!’ page locked my desktop. I have already activate my Windows 7 OS. I purchased Microsoft windows 7 Ultimate version last month. But why did it lock my computer? Is it  a virus? What do I have to do? Will it disappear if I turn off my computer for several days?

‘Unlock this Page to Continue!’ Virus Description

‘Unlock this Page to Continue!’ is a malware program with a black page which will lock your computer and tell you that you can’t do anything if you don’t complete an offer. This means you have to pay money. Beyond doubt, this is a ransomware virus trying to scam PC users’ money. On the virus page, some succinct information will be displayed as: This page will immediately unlock and restore normal access upon your participation in an offer below. Please user valid information. However, even if you do as what it said, your computer will still be locked. Don’t believe its small trick. On the page, some links will be showed to you so that you can “complete an offer”.  Don’t click those links. It’s very dangerous. There are many similar lock-computer-viruses.  This post is pretty good for your reference. Read the rest of this post »

Your desktop was locked. Complete an offer below to unlock your desktop

My desktop was locked by a pop up screen all of a sudden while I was searching online from a movie to watch. The locking screen says “Your desktop was locked. Complete an offer below to unlock your desktop!” and several offers and surveys are listed below which I’m not certain about. Why do I have to do these surveys to unlock my desktop? Most curiously, why my PC got locked?

Your desktop was locked. Complete an offer below to unlock your desktop Blocking Message

Your desktop was locked. Complete an offer below to unlock your desktop message can be categorized as a malware which has been reported to infect computers quite often recently. Has your desktop also been locked by this pop up message? Do not trust what it tells you to do and try to stay away from all the offers and surveys since it is a virus and you should think of another way to unlock your computer. Different from other ransomware which will also lock up computer screens out of nowhere and state you have violated certain laws of the countries, this “Your desktop was locked” message does not pop up quite the same. Instead of accusing you that you have violated laws and charging you to unlock your desktop, this malware only requires you to pick one of the following offers and fill out the forms online to complete a survey. Be careful! Each time PC users complete an online survey or offer, hackers will be able to receive certain amount of mission!
