The “This website has been blocked for you!” Virus is a new ransomware attack that has been hitting computer users in the English speaking countries recently. It is extremely similar to the old FBI virus that was targeting the same geographic location. This attack is passed onto the computer during the installation of a program that was downloaded online, opening an attachment, playing a video file, or by visiting a site that has been compromised by the “This website has been blocked for you!” virus.
