Remove Cyber Crime Unit Scam on Android Phone or Tablet

Hi, unfortunately I was hit with this cyber crime unit scam, and what can I do to remove it? They are giving me 48 hours to send $500 thru PayPal which seems strange because it would be untraceable and on top of that if it’s a legal site why isn’t there a contact number? It says my device is blocked up for safety reasons. It displayed my IP Address, Location, and Name. I read something of this nature: “illegal activity distribution of child pornography”. However, I wasn’t viewing anything of that nature, so I’m curious as to why I received such a blocked cyber crime unit pop-up? Now the device is locked totally and I can’t do anything on it. Please help me exit out this scam page.

Cyber Crime Unit Scam on Android Phone or Tablet

Cyber Crime Unit Scam is actually a kind of ransomware to pretend government department, police agency or other authentic organization to warn you that you did illegal things on android phone or tablet and need to pay a fine of $100-$500 or £100 or £200 to unlock your device. Cyber Crime Unit ransomware would be titled with different name logo in different countries. In United States, this scam virus will show as FBI department banner, U.S.A. cyber crime center or Cyber.Police American National Security Agency logo and so on; and if this scam malware targets phone or tablet users from British, it will label Metropolitan British Police or SOCA (Serious Organised Crime Agency); in Canada, it usually masks with ICSPA (International Cyber Security Protection Alliance) and so on. In a word, Cyber Crime Unit Scam will scare android phone or tablet users with different authentic agency’s masks and trick users into paying money through such payment modes as Moneypak, Prepaid Paypal , PaySafeCard, Ukash or iTune gift card. When your phone or tablet is blocked by such a scam message, you should search this information first, but don’t pay for the money as it demands. To prevent it from getting into your phone or tablet, you should not visit unsafe pornography websites, open spam emails, or click on strange links popping up on the webpage you’re browsing or update fake apps so on.
