Specifically associated with cyber criminals, this Trojan infection can escape from many antivirus protection programs and get itself installed on computers without consent. Ever since the infection is installed, PCs won’t function well which can cause so much trouble to annoy the owners. Any potential consequences could be expected when getting this nasty Trojan virus.
Online resources including malicious sites and links, freeware and spam email attachments can all be the mediums to help distribute this PUP.Optional.Amonetize virus. Once it’s installed, PC users can experience extreme slowness when trying to run the computers and programs as usual. That’s because the virus has taken up a lot of CPU usage. In the meantime, many security alerts can also be displayed constantly trying to get you to install certain malware. These unknown programs often say they can provide removal supports and PC protections. But you will have to pay for their “registered” versions which don’t even exist. It’s just another way of this Trojan virus helping cyber criminals deceiving money.
If a complete removal cannot be achieved in time, the PUP.Optional.Amonetize virus can even inject malicious codes into the infected system so as to help more infections sneak into the machine and online third parties access the machine remotely via illegal mediums. Computers can be controlled completely by remote hackers and auto shutting down can be expected. Because of the virus characters, this Trojan infection cannot be caught fully by antivirus.
