SanDisk Releases 4TB SD Card

SanDisk, a Western Digital brand, recently released the industry’s first SD card with a capacity of 4TB at an industry trade show and is expected to be available in 2025, according to AnandTech. The product, SanDisk Extreme Pro SDUC 4TB, supports SDUC standard, UHS-I interface, and Class 10 speed, which can reach a maximum data transfer rate of 104MB/s. It also supports Video Speed Class V30 standard, which can reach a sequential write speed of no less than 30MB/s to meet the needs of 8K video recording. Video Speed Class V30 standard is supported. The press release does not mention whether the product supports DDR208, the private mode previously seen in the 1TB model, which can achieve read rates of up to 170MB/s, provided the device is compatible. Pricing for the product has not been announced. For reference, the current price of the 1TB SanDisk Extreme Pro is around $140.

DJI Unveils DJI Avata 2 Drone

On April 11, DJI unveiled the new generation of first-view flight experience drone, DJI Avata 2, and its supporting control hardware, DJI Flight Glasses 3 and DJI Traversing Stick 3. Compared with its predecessor, Avata 2 has gained all-around enhancements in terms of flight, image, safety, and endurance performance. With the latest Aviation Glasses 3 and Traversing Stick 3, Avata 2 enables somatosensory control of flight with a turn of the head or wrist. Aviation Glasses 3 features a 1080P Micro-OLED HD screen with a refresh rate of up to 100 Hz and supports diopter adjustments from 200 diopters for distance vision to 600 diopters for near vision. The new Live View Window feature allows users to view the outside world through the exterior camera on the front of the glasses without removing the glasses. With the DJI FPV Remote 3, pros can also unlock M (manual) gear for a more advanced flight control experience.

If you’re building a computer for gaming, I would recommend the AMD R7-7800X3D and the R5-5600X3D. After all, for the same level of performance, the cost of the corresponding power supply and cooling for an Intel processor would be at least two price tiers higher. The R7-7800X3D is simply divine for gaming processors.

Copilot Pro Hands-on Experience

In March last year, Microsoft announced the launch of Microsoft 365 Copilot, announcing the integration of AI tools based on large language models into Microsoft Office, with features that include the use of AI for content creation, improving work efficiency, and more. Copilot, which is embedded into the Office suite, is able to generate content based on commands directly while editing documents, as well as analyze and organize documents in a pane via a sidebar, and more. As an office worker who has to deal with Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and Outlook every day, I coveted this feature.
