Can’t get rid of Supreme Savings pops up (Supreme Savings by Excellent Apps)? I usually use Google Chrome as my homepage and now have a problem with the pop-ups “Supreme Savings” which inserts hi-lighted links into web pages text? I cannot remove it because whenever I try to uninstall it, I get screwed and the extensions settings it says that it’s managed and cannot be removed or disabled! How to get rid of the thing hacked your browsers deeply?

What is Supreme Savings? Adware or Spyware?

The Supreme Savings (alias Supreme Savings by Excellent Apps) is also referred to as the adware thing once fully hacked by hackers, and it is a malicious add-on that will deliver nonstop popup advertisements to the point where they froze user’s computer from taking up so much system memory. If you are a user of Firefox, Google Chrome, or Internet Explorer then there is a chance your system can become a victim of the Supreme Savings virus. It is a redirect hijack virus that modifies the system settings and changing the default browser settings to redirect to the Supreme Savings site at launch, which is a fake search engine designed to take the user to other malicious sites and then flood the user with pop up advertisements. Even after attempting to uninstall the virus it will immediately pop right back up, as it has a habit of crawling deep into the system files and making it impossible to simple just uninstall it.

The good thing is that most anti-virus software will detect many threats and it can help to prevent it from attacking. The bad news is that not everyone is running current versions of their anti-virus software, and some do not even run regular scans. Having a computer equipped with virus detection software doesn’t do any good unless regular scans of the system are performed and done so with updated versions of the program.

The Supreme Savings add-on virus is picked up by clicking on infected links dropped in images, videos or contained in downloads. The hackers are known to place this virus within pictures on porn sites and also hide it in files that are then placed on freeware and file sharing sites. A large number of people visit these types of site every day and are not careful about what they click on so they are able to attack a very large amount of PC’s on a daily basis. The majority of people are not performing regular system scans.  But this is not enough, you need expertise to fully kick it.
